How we look after your details
We use your details to answer you, to show you your score and to send you your report. Nothing else, and nothing goes on a mailing list.
Who is responsible

The enquiry form
It collects your name, your email address, your organisation and website if you give them, the service you're interested in, how you found us, when you'd like to start, and anything you write in the message box. Sending it passes those details to the service that sends our email, which delivers them to our inbox, where they are kept. The site's main privacy notice names the companies that handle them.
We use them to reply to you and, if we work together, to run the work. The lawful basis is legitimate interest: you contacted us, so you expect a reply. Enquiries that don't become work are deleted within twelve months. Records of work we have carried out are kept for six years, because tax rules require it.
The free scores
The two free housing scores are worked out on this site's own server from your answers, by fixed rules, with no AI involved. When you see your score, your answers, your organisation's name and your email address come to us by email, so we know a score has been taken. If you tick the box, your result is emailed to you as well. The lawful basis is legitimate interest, as for an enquiry, and the details are kept for the same time.
The free reports
To open a report you give your name, your email address and your organisation, and tick to say you'd like the report sent to you. We email you the link to your report, and your name, email, organisation, answers and scores come to us by email so we know a report has been opened.
The report is built from your answers each time the link is opened. Nothing is stored on our servers: the link itself carries your organisation's name and your answers in coded form, signed so that it can't be altered, and it doesn't carry your name or email address. Anyone you share the link with can open the report, so treat it like the email it came in. Links stop working after 120 days.
Your browser
Your answers and scores also stay in your own browser's local storage, under names starting oxo-housing, so you can carry on later and see both scores together. When you open a report, your email address is held for a moment in that tab's session storage, so the report page can say where the link went, and removed as soon as the page has read it. None of this leaves your device that way, and clearing your browser data for this site removes it. Your IP address is used only to stop misuse, and the counters that use it are deleted within two days.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, and we will deal with it within one month. Email robert@oxocreatives.com.
If you are not happy with how we handle it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. Our registration number is ZC273299.
